About this trip

The Root Initiation

It is a true Rite of Passage, a “coming of age” ritual for women and men of all ages.

It offers without exception a true physical and spiritual test delivering completely changed people on the other side. Your life will always be compared to your life ‘before’ the Root, and your life ‘after’ the Root.

The initiation works as a way to ensure integrity, alignment, and connection. It is a cleaning and clearing of your core wounds and biggest egoic deficiencies that have moved you away from your true self, and the quintessence of who you truly are at a soul level. It is this initiation where you learn the reality of life, meet your soul, and learn who you truly are.

We work with the spirit of a plant from Africa. It has profound mystical properties that allow direct connection to your own source consciousness without intermediaries. It has been called the ‘Tree of Knowledge’ in the bible and gives profound access to all sorts of pockets and places of consciousness. It grounds you deeply into this reality while giving you access all the way to the Godhead.

It allows your conscious mind to navigate your subconscious and unconscious minds. You can become the cosmonaut of your Innerspace and have revealed to you many things from your childhood that have been deeply buried and forgotten that have shaped your reality to this day. You will be able to access deeply buried unconscious and long-suppressed fears, and negative emotions you didn’t know existed but are affecting your life to this day.

The initiation takes you back to your formative years and deals with the childhood and ancestral conditioning you experienced growing up. It gives you the opportunity to reprogramme your childhood and elevate the conditions of your life.

Itinerary

A sacred immersion of descent, dissolution, rebirth, and integration within the powerful lands of Mexico.

Day 01: Arrival Day & Orientation Day

Arrive and settle into the retreat space. This opening day is devoted to grounding, connection, and preparation. Meet your facilitators and fellow initiates, receive important guidance for the ceremonial journey ahead, and consciously enter the sacred container together.

Day 02: Ceremony 1

The first ceremonial immersion begins. This is the day of descent — a profound initiation into surrender, release, and ego dissolution. Held within a carefully guided container, you will be supported to meet the threshold with courage and presence.

Day 03: Ceremony 2

From the ashes, renewal. This second ceremonial day anchors the rebirth process — restoring clarity, embodiment, and soul remembrance. Integration begins within the ceremony itself as you stabilise into your renewed field of awareness.

Day 04: Integration Day

A spacious day for reflection, sharing, and grounding. The group remains within the retreat space as teachings are woven, insights are integrated, and the initiation is formally sealed. This is a day of embodiment, anchoring, and completion.

Day 05: Check-Out

Enjoy a final morning together with breakfast before departure. Depart the retreat space carrying the imprint of your initiation — recalibrated, clarified, and complete.

Travel Advice

📅 Bookings & Travel Preparation

The closest airports are:

Tulum International Airport (TQO) – approximately 30 minutes from Tulum.

This is the most convenient option if flights are available from your location.

Cancún International Airport (CUN) – approximately 1.5–2.5 hours by car from Tulum.

This airport offers the widest range of international flights and is often the easiest option for global travellers.

Once you arrive, you may arrange a private transfer, shuttle service, or rental car to Tulum. We recommend planning your travel in advance to ensure a smooth arrival.

Further location details and arrival instructions will be provided after registration.

🕒 Arrive Early for Jet Lag & Contingency

For those flying in from long-haul destinations, we strongly recommend arriving one to two days early.

Arriving ahead of schedule allows you to:

  • Adjust to the time zone

  • Recover from long travel

  • Create a buffer for potential flight delays or missed connections

This ensures you begin the initiation grounded, rested, and fully present.

🌄 Extend Your Stay (Highly recommended)

If time allows, consider extending your stay in Mexico after your initiation.

Resting an extra day or two can:

  • Support deeper integration

  • Give you time to relax by the ocean

  • Make onward travel smoother and less rushed

Any additional nights before or after the included itinerary are optional and at your own cost.
